A series of events, starting with Gov. Ryan’s announcement to halt executions in Illinois, have brought the death penalty back to table. The Court of Public Opinion has once again opened its doors to evaluate the death penalty and has created a political window of opportunity.

Now is the time for Sr. Helen and Moratorium 2000 to reach out to millions of Americans. Now is the time to provide them with the facts about the horrific injustices of this institutionalized killing machine. It will only take a small amount of education to convince the majority of Americans that we must immediately cease and desist from this horrible practice. However, it is going to take a vast amount of resources to hold this successful nationwide campaign. Sr. Helen and Moratorium 2000 need your help!
